    About four months ago I bought a Chinese Money Plant, AKA Pilea, for a family member for Christmas. I am typically slow to jump on the “trendy” plant train, so this was my first time buying pilea. To my annoyance, my local greenhouse only had one size and one price – 6″ pot for $38.     Plant Trend Prediction: The Mistletoe Cactus

    Maybe it’s because the macram√© hanging planters just keep coming. Or maybe it’s because this little beauty is so easy to take care of. But I really think we’re going to be seeing a lot of the Mistletoe Cactus this year. It’s a succulent that’s perfect for hanging baskets but isn’t as solar needy as the succulents you’re probably used to. They prefer bright, indirect light, which is great news for your windowsill real estate, and as for watering, just steer clear of extremes and you should be ok.
